Academic Partnerships
In addition to providing a variety of online and in-person courses, University Extension serves The University of Texas at Austin community by building mutually beneficial partnerships with departments and academic units on campus. Through these collaborative efforts, we help the university extend its reach and offer programs that would not otherwise be possible.
All University Extension courses exist in the university’s academic catalog, are approved by departments and colleges, and are taught by UT Austin or other approved faculty. Credit for University Extension courses appears on an official UT Austin transcript.
