Parking and Transportation
University Extension is located in the UT Administration Building (UTA) at 1616 Guadalupe Street.
Parking: University parking is available in the Guadalupe Garage (GUG), which you can enter from 17th Street. The garage offers faculty/staff and student permit parking, visitor parking, paid daily parking and department parking options. Additionally, the UT Share Pass is available. Overflow parking is available curbside using the City of Austin metered ParkX app and next door in the Wells Fargo Tower Garage at 400 W 15th Street. See additional parking information.
Bus: The building is accessible via many Capital Metro bus routes. For specific routes and times from your location, use the CapMetro Trip Planner.
Walking: Walking to UTA from the center of campus takes about 10-15 minutes. The UTA Building is two blocks south of the UT Austin main campus.
Biking: Bike racks can be found on the north side of the building.
