About HED 366 - Human Sexuality 

The topic of human sexuality is an important one both from the perspective of a health educator and from an individual perspective.

This course provides students with an overview of human sexuality, garnered from scientific research and theory. Students will have the opportunity to analyze and reflect upon their own sexuality as well as to study the many forms of human sexual expression. The primary goals of the course are 1) to increase cognitive competence and understanding of human sexuality concepts based on theory and research, and 2) to promote sexual health, which is the integration of the biological, emotional, intellectual, and social aspects of sexuality, in ways that are positively enriching.

Class Schedule

This course is independent study and is self-paced. Students have five months upon registration in which to complete all coursework and exams.

Upper-division standing and at least 45 semester hours of coursework.
