The Blair and Bubba Moffett Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) - Summer 2025

Restricted to students approved for participation in The Blair and Bubba Moffett Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) in the summer 2025 semester. 

Policies

All students must pay a $50 program deposit to secure their spot in the Summer Entreprenership Academy by no later than Tuesday, May 6, 2025. This deposit payment will be processed upon checkout below. The appropriate balance of the program fee will be added to your receipt and automatically processed using the same method as the deposit payment on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, unless you contact UEX before this date and complete payment using an alternative method. Please find further instructions below.

Wednesday, May 21, 2025Deadline to pay balance of program fee. All program fees will be automatically processed using the same payment method as the deposit, unless you contact UEX at uex@austin.utexas.edu before this date. 
Friday, May 23, 2025Deadline to request full refund of the program fee minus the $50 deposit. Email uex@austin.utexas.edu to request a refund.

Registration Instructions

  1. Add the below "Summer Entrepreneurship Academy" course to cart.
  2. Click the Check Out button at the top right of this page.
  3. On the next page,
    1. Select the grade method for your course - Letter Grade. Note that your grading method will be changed to Letter Grade should you select another grading method.
    2. Select “I have a UT EID-Continue Registering.”
    3. Check that you agree to the refund policy.
    4. Check that you agree to the policies on the University Extension website and have read the privacy statement.
  4. Review and update your biographical information as needed.
  5. Enter your Texas Success Initiative (TSI) information if needed.
    1. If needed, check that you understand the TSI policy.
    2. If needed, select the appropriate explanation regarding TSI compliance.  
  6. Review your Payment Information and enter your Payment Method.  Please note that you may not use a check to pay the deposit.
    1. If you are paying for the Summer Entrepreneurship Academy through either Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan (TGTP) or Texas Tuition Promise Fund (TTPF), select that payment method and email uex@austin.utexas.edu either your currently dated In-State Enrollment Verification Letter (TGTP) or a copy of the Authorize Use of TTPF Benefits (Step 3 of 3-School Authorization Completed).
  7. Review and edit (if necessary) your information.
    1. Check both of the certification statements under Confirmation.
    2. Click “Submit Registration.”
  8. University Extension staff will review your registration and process your $50 deposit payment. A receipt with the balance due on May 21, 2025 will be emailed to you. This process may take up to 5 business days. Note that the balance payment will be automatically processed on the card used to pay the deposit on May 21, 2025, unless you notify UEX of an alternative method to pay before May 21, 2025. Please ensure that you adequate funds are available in your account for UEX to process the balance payment on May 21, 2025.
    1. If you wish to pay via an alternative card, please fill out the highlighted fields in this form and return to UEX at uex@austin.utexas.edu, noting you are a Summer Entrepreneurship Academy student.
