This online course is one of two non-sequential intermediate Russian courses offered this summer designed to help students progress from intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Russian language. While developing all four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking), the students will focus primarily on improving their Russian writing skills using authentic textual, video, and audio materials as a basis for course work.  Students will work with contemporary Russian textual, video, and audio materials to develop their ability to understand and write on a variety of topics, including relationships, family, health, and many others. 
Date & Location:
Meets June 4 - July 9. This course is 100% online and includes live streaming video. Daily real-time participation is required during scheduled meeting time.

All materials are available through Canvas.
Technical Requirements:
Reliable internet connection (wired connection is recommended for synchronous interactions and video recordings). A computer with webcam, microphone and headphones.

Development of four-skills proficiency in Russian - listening, speaking, reading and writing - with emphasis on writing.

Completion of either Intensive Russian (RUS601C and RUS611C), Online Russian (RUS406, RUS407, and RUS412) sequences, or equivalent.
