- For students receiving Financial Aid or a scholarship who need to delay payment due to the timing of their award,
- Select "Check or Other" as the payment method. Note that students must have applied for Summer 2025 aid before submitting a registration, as UEX will confirm if the student has applied for aid before processing their registration. Once it has been confirmed that the student has applied for aid, UEX will process the registration and confirm the due date of the course payment, two weeks after the course start date. Note that there may be a delay between when a registration is submitted and when it is processed by UEX.
- To remit payment for the course(s), students must follow-up with UEX directly by emailing uex@austin.utexas.edu or calling (512) 471-2900. Please note that financial aid is NOT disbursed to UEX directly and that students cannot pay their bill through What I Owe. Students who do not remit payment by the due date will be dropped from the course. Note that students whose aid is delayed due to issues outside of their control will not be dropped, and UEX will work with impacted students to arrange an appropriate deadline. All students are expected to act promptly to complete financial aid requirements, including submitting a FAFSA, to help prevent delays in the release of funds.
- For students receiving Financial Aid or a scholarship who need to delay payment due to the timing of their award,
- Review and edit (if necessary) your information.
- Check both of the certification statements under Confirmation.
- Click “Submit Registration.”
