M 301 - College Algebra
This course is concerned with the basic facts and techniques of algebra that are used over and over again in almost every college-level mathematics course, as well as in other courses and everyday mathematics. Students will develop a clear understanding of these concepts. Content includes the rational, real and complex number systems; the study of functions including polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions and related equations; inequalities; systems of linear equations; and sequences and counting theory.

This course is independent study and is self-paced. Students have five months upon registration in which to complete all coursework. Exams must be taken in person at an approved testing center (learn more). Proctoring fees vary by site and are not included in the course fee.
Texas Success Initiative (TSI) exemption or a TSI Mathematics Assessment score of 350 or higher.
